Katchop

Katchop.com, was the now shuttered but formerly popular sports themed website where I created thousands of digitally altered sports themed photos and logos. Many of those wound up being featured on numerous other websites, countless blogs and message boards and throughout both mainstream and social media.
Images made for Katchop were repurposed for use in social media by people and entities like ESPN, Yoko Ono, Ray Lewis, Deadspin, Bill Simmons, Rush Limbaugh, USA Today, etc.

Social Media
I was never that active on social media while Katchop was running, but the images I created still found their way there quite a bit.
Here is an example of a silly photo I made of Hall of Fame Line Backer, Ray Lewis.

Years after I created that image, it was used by author and former ESPN host Bill Simmons during an argument he was having with Ray Lewis on Twitter. Because this took place during the week leading up to the Super Bowl, and because of the absurdity of it all, both the Tweet and the image became national news.
